Tuition & Aid
Our school calendar runs from the Tuesday after Labor Day in September to the Friday before Memorial Day in May. Our tuition is structured as a monthly rate for nine months per year.

Aftercare costs $11/hour. Families can choose to sign up monthly for the hours they need or sign up for prepaid aftercare ($10/hour) at the beginning of each semester.

Families who purchase a full buyout do not have to co-op in the classroom, nor do they have to complete any of the required co-oping paperwork. They still have to fulfill other membership responsibilities. The monthly full buyout fees for the 2026-27 school year are:
2s Class: $115

Families who purchase a half buyout will only have to co-op in the classroom half the amount of time (Example: A Pre-K half buyout family will only have to co-op in the class 6-7 times a year, as opposed to 13-14 times a year). The monthly half buyout fees for the 2026-27 school year are:

We offer a summer camp program for CPNS students only that runs Tuesdays through Thursdays for 4 weeks every year, beginning the week of Memorial Day. The cost of summer camp for the 2026-27 school year is estimated to be $110 per week (subject to change).
Payment Schedule and Fees
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Tuition is due by the 10th of each month. September tuition is due August 10th, and May tuition is due May 10th or upon enrollment. An Enrollment Acceptance Fee (see Annual Fees below) is also due upon enrollment and is non-refundable. Payments can be made via ACH transfer or credit card through Playground, our secure enrollment and child care management platform. Note that credit card payments incur a processing fee.

Discounts & Financial Aid
PREPAY DISCOUNT
Enrolled families can receive a discount for prepaying either for the full year or by semester. Payments must be received by August 10th, 2026.
3% discount for prepaying a semester
5% discount for prepaying the full year
SIBLING DISCOUNT
15% discount for families with multiple children enrolled simultaneously. The discount is applied to the younger child’s tuition.
MARYLAND CHILD CARE SCHOLARSHIP / THIRD-PARTY SUBSIDIES
CPNS participates in the Maryland Excels program, which allows us to accept families receiving aid through the Maryland Child Care Scholarship Program. We will also accept subsidy payments from other agencies. Families who have been approved for a Maryland Child Care Scholarship, or any other subsidy program, should contact the CPNS front office for more information on how to apply their scholarship to tuition/fee charges.
CPNS FINANCIAL AID
CPNS offers financial aid to enrolled families in need, funded by our Greatest Needs Fund from our annual Trash-A-Thon fundraiser. Families eligible for the Maryland Child Care Scholarship program must put in an application for state financial aid first. Flexible payment schedules can also be arranged.
